Restaurant online ordering, answered
What is commission-free online ordering?
It means the ordering company doesn't take a percent of each sale. TIKT charges a flat monthly plan (Starter is free), and customers pay a 5% service fee at checkout. Your restaurant keeps its full menu prices.
Can I do delivery without hiring drivers?
Yes. You can deliver with your own staff and your own delivery fee, or turn on TIKT GO on Pro so local drivers deliver your orders. Have a driver? Use TIKT GO as backup when they're off. Drivers are paid from the delivery fee and keep 100% of the tip.
Do I need a tablet or a printer?
No. Orders show up on an orders screen that runs on any tablet, laptop or phone and rings until accepted. On Pro, connect Square or Clover and orders also print on your Square or Clover printer.
Can customers order from my own website?
Yes. We add an "Order Now" button to your current site. Need a new website? We build them as a separate service, from $500.
How fast can my restaurant start taking online orders?
Set it up yourself the same day, or on Pro within a few days: send us your menu, a website, Facebook page or photos of the menu, and we build your page and walk your staff through the orders screen.
How do I get paid?
Card payments go into your own Stripe account and then to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule. Cash is collected by you at pickup or on delivery.
