Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

This policy explains what information TIKT collects and how we use it. It covers tikt.store, each business's ordering page and dashboard on tikt.store, TIKT GO (tikt.store/go), and the TIKT GO driver app. TIKT and TIKT GO are run by TIKT LLC, an Alaska company ("we", "us").

The short version

• We collect what's needed to place, make and deliver orders, and to pay businesses and drivers.
• Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers or bank account numbers.
• We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for ads.
• We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

If you order from a business

What we collect: your name, phone number, what you ordered, notes, your tip, and, for delivery, your address and directions. If you pay by card, Stripe collects your card details for the business.

How it's used: to send your order to the business, show it on their orders screen and ticket printer, let you follow your order's status, and, for TIKT GO delivery, give the driver your name, phone number, address and directions.

Who sees it: the business you order from, and the TIKT GO driver who delivers it. If the business offers TIKT Rewards, your phone number is used to find your rewards account and add points.

Your location: if you tap "Use my location" on tikt.store, your phone's location is used once to find businesses near you. It isn't saved.

If you run a business on TIKT

What we collect: your business name, type, web address, town, contact name, phone and email, your menu, hours, settings and logo, your orders and sales, and a hashed version of your dashboard password (we can't read it). When you sign up, we keep a scrambled form of your internet address for a short time to stop spam sign-ups.

Payments: card payments go to your own Stripe account. Stripe collects the identity and bank details it needs to pay you. A card you save for TIKT fees is kept by Stripe.

Menu import: if you import a menu from a photo, PDF or website, that file or page is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to read the menu. It's used only to fill in your menu.

Order alerts: if you turn on alerts, we save an address for each phone or computer so new orders can reach it.

If you drive for TIKT GO

What we collect: your name, phone number, vehicle, a hashed version of your PIN, photos of your driver's license and insurance, your shift status, the deliveries you take, and your pay.

Your location: when you go on shift, and about once a minute while you're on shift with TIKT GO open, your phone's location is used to work out which town you're in. We save the town, not your exact location. TIKT GO doesn't track you in the background or when you're off shift.

Payouts: you're paid through Stripe. Stripe collects the identity, tax and debit card or bank details it needs. We never see your full card or account numbers.

Who sees it: businesses and customers see your first name for the deliveries you take. Your license and insurance photos are seen only by TIKT GO staff to approve you.

Notifications: if you allow alerts, the app saves a push token so we can tell you about new orders in your town. Alerts are delivered through Expo, Apple and Google.

Companies that help us run TIKT

We share only what each one needs to do its job:

• Stripe: card payments, payouts and saved cards
• Cloudflare: hosting and security for our websites
• Supabase: our database
• Expo, Apple and Google: delivering app notifications
• Anthropic: reading menus that businesses choose to import
• U.S. Census Bureau and OpenStreetMap: finding the map location of business addresses

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or if TIKT is sold or merged (the buyer would have to follow this policy).

Storage on your device

Our pages store a few things in your browser or app, like staying signed in, your cart, and settings you chose. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records as long as needed for the business's records, taxes and disputes, generally up to 7 years. Driver license and insurance photos are kept while you drive with TIKT GO, then deleted on request. Accounts can be closed at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information, or to close your account. Some records, like completed payments, may have to be kept by law. Businesses can edit most of their information in their dashboard; drivers can contact TIKT GO support.

Security

Connections are encrypted, passwords and PINs are stored only as hashes, and access to information is limited to the people and systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you trust us with.

Children

TIKT isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. TIKT GO drivers must be adults with a valid driver's license.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be shown on our site or in the app.
