Terms of Service
Effective November 1, 2026
These terms apply to tikt.store, each business's ordering page and dashboard, TIKT GO (tikt.store/go) and the TIKT GO driver app (together, "TIKT"). TIKT is run by TIKT LLC, an Alaska company ("we", "us"). By using TIKT, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What TIKT is
TIKT is software that lets local businesses take orders online, and TIKT GO connects those businesses with local drivers for delivery. The business you order from sells you the food or goods. We aren't the seller, and we don't make, store or inspect what's sold.
2. Ordering
- Your order is with the business. Prices, menu items, hours, wait times, sales tax and delivery fees are set by the business.
- Each order includes a TIKT service fee of 5% of the item subtotal, shown at checkout.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe and paid to the business. For cash orders, you pay the business at pickup or delivery.
- Questions about an order, refunds and food allergies go to the business. Tell them about any allergy before you order.
- Tips for TIKT GO deliveries go 100% to the driver.
3. Businesses
- Your account: you're responsible for your dashboard password, the information on your page, your menu and prices, and following the laws that apply to your business, including food safety, licensing and sales tax.
- Plans: Starter is free. Pro is billed monthly or yearly, starting the day your page first takes orders, and renews until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, which stops future renewals.
- Fees: customers pay the 5% service fee on card orders at checkout. For cash orders, you collect it, and the card you saved for TIKT fees is charged each Friday for the cash orders from the week before.
- Card payments: you connect your own Stripe account and agree to Stripe's terms. You're the seller in each sale and are responsible for refunds, chargebacks and disputes on your orders.
- Your content: you keep ownership of your menu, photos and logo. You let us show them on your page and on tikt.store so customers can find and order from you.
- Self-serve accounts: a business that sets itself up can't take orders until it has a menu and has connected Stripe, or saved a card for TIKT fees for cash orders.
4. TIKT GO drivers
- Independent: you're an independent contractor, not an employee of TIKT LLC or of the businesses. You choose when to go on shift and which deliveries to take.
- Requirements: you must be an adult with a valid driver's license, insurance that meets Alaska law (or your state's), and a vehicle that's safe and legal to drive.
- Pay: you're paid from the delivery fee and keep 100% of tips. Pay goes out through Stripe, normally in 1–2 business days. Cash out now (Instant Payouts) is optional and costs 1.5% (at least $0.99), which is shown before you confirm.
- Taxes: you're responsible for your own taxes. Stripe may send you a tax form.
- Conduct: handle orders with care, follow traffic laws, and be respectful to businesses and customers. We can pause or remove a driver account for safety, fraud or repeated problems.
5. Things you can't do
Don't use TIKT to break the law, sell things that aren't allowed to be sold, place fake or fraudulent orders, get into accounts that aren't yours, copy or overload our systems, or harass anyone.
6. Our service
We work to keep TIKT running, but it may sometimes be unavailable or have errors, and features may change. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using TIKT at any time.
7. Disclaimers and limits
TIKT is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for what businesses sell, for drivers' or businesses' actions, or for indirect or lost-profit damages. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or $100 if that's greater.
8. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska. If there's a problem, contact us first and we'll try to fix it. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts in Alaska.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for big changes, let businesses and drivers know in their dashboard or app. Using TIKT after a change means you accept it.
